Kerry Baldwin is an independent researcher and writer with a B.A. in Philosophy from Arizona State University. She is the co-author of Faith Seeking Freedom: Libertarian Christian Answers to Tough Questions. In addition to her content and courses here on MereLiberty.com, She’s also a regular contributor for the Libertarian Christian Institute.
Her writing focuses on libertarian philosophy and reformed theology and aimed at the educated layperson; challenging readers to rethink prevailing paradigms in politics, theology, and culture. She is a confessionally Reformed Christian orthodox Presbyterian in the tradition of J. Gresham Machen (1881 – 1937), an outspoken libertarian and defender of Christian orthodoxy.
She is best known for debating PhD economist Walter Block on the topic of a libertarian view of abortion, wherein she takes a unique yet still prolife, perspective. She is currently in process of articulating a libertarian theory of reproductive rights for submission for peer review.
